Barbara Pym est une romancière anglaise qui pour beaucoup aujourd’hui semble surannée et démodée, à l’image de sa contemporaine Elizabeth Taylor. Toutes les deux sont à l’heure actuelle injustement oubliées ou ignorées. Les éditions 10/18 ont d’ailleurs purement et simplement supprimé Barbara Pym de leur catalogue cette année.
