Roman très court qui relate l’histoire peu connue des camps d’internement ouverts par le FBI à la suite de l’attaque de Pearl Harbor. Des millers d’américains d’origine japonaise furent internés de 1941 à 1945. Cela est dit avec des mots secs, glacés. Mais il s’en dégage une sérénité peu commune qui fait de ce livre un témoignage bouleversant.
